Use an inventory-tracked product when you need the sale to affect stock records.

1. Check the product

Open Items and review the product’s stock-tracking choice, unit, rate, tax, and quantity on hand.

2. Create the invoice

Choose the customer and add the saved product to an invoice. Enter the quantity sold and confirm its rate, tax, and total.

3. Issue through the normal flow

Save, preview, and issue the invoice when the sale is ready. Review any insufficient-stock or document-status warning rather than overriding it with an unrelated item.

4. Review stock movements

Open the product’s inventory movement history and compare the invoice reference and quantity with the sale.

5. Verify payment separately

Check the invoice’s actual payment history. Stock movement and money received are separate records.
