Managing team assignments manually across multiple projects can be challenging and time-consuming. Invoice Crowd's Team Assignment feature streamlines the process, allowing you to efficiently add team members to projects, set their billing rates, and manage permissions.
With the Team Assignment feature, you can:
- Add multiple team members to projects
- Set individual billing rates for team members
- Track time and contributions per team member
- Manage project access permissions
Steps to Assign Team Members
1. Access Project Settings
- Navigate to Worklog → Projects.
- Select the project you want to assign team members to.
- Click on the Team tab.
2. Add Team Members
- Click the + Add Team Members button.
- From the dropdown list, select the team members you want to add.
- You can select multiple team members at once.
3. Configure Member Settings
For each team member, you can set:
- Role: Assign specific roles, such as Manager or Contributor (if applicable).
- Hourly Rate: Define the rate for staff-based billing methods.
- Access Permissions: Control what the team member can view or edit within the project.
4. Bulk Team Assignment
To assign multiple team members to several projects at once:
- Go to the main Projects list.
- Select multiple projects using the checkboxes.
- Click Bulk Actions and choose Assign Team Members.
- Select the team members to add and click Save.
The system will automatically update project access for the selected team members, and they will receive notifications about their new project assignments.
