Manually creating invoices from approved estimates can be tedious, and the process of sharing invoices for payment adds unnecessary delays. Automating this process reduces manual work and speeds up the payment cycle.

The Auto Convert to Invoice and Auto Redirect to Invoice options streamline the workflow. With these features:

  • Estimates can be automatically converted into invoices once approved.
  • Customers can be redirected directly to the invoice page, ready for payment.

Steps to Enable Auto Conversion and Auto Redirection

  1. Create or Edit an Estimate

    • Navigate to the Estimates section and create a new estimate or open an existing one.
  2. Enable Auto Convert to Invoice

    • In the estimate editor, open the Options panel on the right sidebar.
    • Toggle the Auto Convert to Invoice option to enable it.
  3. Enable Auto Redirect to Invoice (Optional)

    • After enabling Auto Convert to Invoice, a new option will appear: Auto Redirect to Invoice.
    • Toggle this option to redirect your customers to the invoice page immediately after they approve the estimate.
  4. Save and Send the Estimate

    • Save your changes and send the estimate to your customer.
  5. Customer Experience

    • If Auto Redirect to Invoice is Enabled:
      • Once the estimate is approved, the customer will be redirected to the invoice page, where they can proceed with payment.
    • If Auto Redirect to Invoice is Disabled:
      • The estimate will be automatically converted to an invoice and saved as a draft for you to review and send manually.
