A Credit Note is issued to a Customer when goods are returned after a sale, often due to reasons like damage or dissatisfaction. This document represents a refund or credit to the customer's account.

Getting Started with Credit Notes

Creating a Credit Note 

  • Go to Invoicing > Credit Notes.
  • Click the + (plus icon) to create a new credit note.
  • Enter necessary details like customer information and the items being credited.
  • Save the credit note.

Credit Note from an Invoice

  • Navigate to Invoicing > Invoices.
  • Choose the invoice you wish to convert into a credit note.
  • On the right panel, click the "Create Credit Note" button.
  • This action will auto-generate a new credit note with details pre-populated from the selected invoice.
