Attach the receipt first. Invoice Crowd can fill in details it recognizes, and you can correct them before saving the expense.

1. Open the expense form

Go to Purchases → Expenses and select New Expense.

The New Expense button at the top right of Expenses.

2. Attach your receipt

Select Attach Receipt. Use a PNG, JPG, or PDF up to 2 MB. If your file is larger, resize the photo or compress the PDF.

The Receipt section shows the supported file types and size limit.

3. Choose the file

On the Upload tab, select Choose a File or drag the receipt into the box. If you uploaded it before, select it from Media Library. Choose Add File when the file is selected.

Upload lets you choose a new file; Media Library lets you use an existing one.

4. Check the details

Compare the title, date, amount, and currency with the receipt. Fill in anything missing. Choose the Expense Category and the account under Paid From. If a review notice appears, resolve it before saving.

5. Save the expense

Select Save Expense. Find the entry in All Expenses and check its amount. Open the receipt from the Receipt column if you need to compare it again.

Attaching a receipt does not save an expense or use AI credits. You can enter the details yourself if the receipt is hard to read.
