Ask for the details the client must supply directly in the proposal they will review.

1. Open the proposal

Go to Proposals → My Proposals and open the intended editable draft. Confirm the customer and proposal name.

The proposal editor separates Actions from content and design tools.

2. Add the questions

Open Content → Fields and add a text, date, dropdown, radio, or checkbox field for each answer you need. Label each question clearly.

Use the proposal’s native fields to collect the required answers.

3. Choose required answers

Mark an answer required only when the client must provide it before completion. Use conditional rules for questions that depend on an earlier answer.

4. Assign and test

For a multi-signer workflow, assign each question and the fields it reveals to the same signer. Save and preview the client flow before sending.

5. Use the proposal itself

The separate pre-proposal questionnaire is retired. Collect answers through the proposal’s native fields rather than an old questionnaire link.
