An automated accounting transfer needs a connector you or your developer configure.
1. Choose export or a connector
For a one-time transfer, use the invoice Export to QuickBooks / Xero flow. For an ongoing connector, open Integrations → Developer API → API Reference → Sync with QuickBooks or Xero.
2. Map stable records
Have the connector map source record IDs to destination records. Review contact, item, account, tax, region, and currency handling before allowing writes in the destination.
3. Track changed records
Use the documented /changes feed and accounting-detail requests. Record processed IDs and outcomes so the same source entry is not imported twice. Preserve a checkpoint and handle retries consistently.
4. Reconcile the result
Compare document totals and payments on both sides. Review records marked deleted rather than deleting them automatically. Invoice Crowd does not write to QuickBooks or Xero on its own.
