Review the stock on hand and recorded value for the selected business.

1. Open Inventory Summary

Choose Reports → Inventory Summary. Confirm the selected business and the report’s As Of date.

2. Read quantity and value separately

Find the product or SKU. Compare Stock on Hand, Average Cost, and Inventory Value. Stock value comes from recorded cost movements, not the current selling price.

Inventory Summary separates Stock on Hand, Average Cost, and Inventory Value for the As Of date.

3. Trace an unexpected amount

Open Items → Inventory and use Movements, Receipts, Adjustments, or cost layers to examine the underlying changes. Do not change a selling rate to force the report to match a target.

4. Export the reviewed scope

Set the available filters and review the totals before exporting. If a balance remains unexplained, keep the item and period details for support or your accountant.
