Read the saved result before deciding which rows to submit again.

1. Find the import result

Open the result or recent-import entry and keep its Import ID. Check created, skipped, rejected, and pending counts.

The review distinguishes new rows from skipped and invalid ones.

2. Read each reason

Download the review or result report when offered. Check missing fields, invalid values, identity rules, and duplicate numbers for the rejected rows.

3. Correct only rejected rows

Build a correction file containing the rows established as rejected. For customer imports, a deliberate new submission can create contacts again; names or blank emails are not an update match.

4. Pause on unknown outcomes

If the import is still running or says Needs Review, use Check Status or contact support with the reference. Do not treat an uncertain result as permission to reapply the file.
